My passion for art
passion for art and its deep roots
In my life, the passion for art has deep and indissoluble roots. Since my first days on earth, I have breathed creativity as if it were part of my very DNA. Since I was very young, the world of fashion has captured my imagination. At just 6 years old, I drew dresses for my dolls, which my grandmother, a seamstress, patiently and masterfully transformed into reality. Inspired by the cartoons of the time such as Candy Candy and Lady Oscar, I gave life to unique and personal creations.
my path was already mapped out
By the end of my eighth grade, my path was already mapped out. Fashion, with its charm and magic, was my destiny. After attending a professional school in the sector, I decided to specialize further. The dream of becoming a fashion designer took me to the KOEFIA International Academy of Haute Couture and Costume Art in Rome. Here I lived three extraordinary years, immersed in a world of creativity and inspiration.
We enter the world of work
After my academic career, I was lucky enough to find work at an agency that allowed me to express my art through fashion shows and personal creations. Success, recognition and a growing clientele characterized this chapter of my life, until a tragic event that changed everything. An accident forced me to leave the world of fashion, but the support and trust of my father guided me towards a new path: graphics.
This is how my Paper Ladies were born
Twenty years of work in the field of graphics have marked a new phase in my artistic career. Various experiences and challenges have taken me away from the art I loved, until a turning point during the lockdown. With creativity bubbling inside me, I rediscovered my passion for drawing and creation, landing on the technique of book art.
This is how my Paper Ladies were born, three-dimensional figures dressed in evening dresses made with carefully folded and modeled book pages. A project that brought joy and satisfaction back into my artistic life, combining a passion for fashion, craftsmanship and creative recovery. Today, my Paper Ladies are not only works of art, but also unique and magical objects, enriched by lights that make them even more special. My artistic and professional history is intertwined with the beauty and valorization of an object to which I have always paid great respect: books.
